Action speak louder than words

All of us born preachers. but when it comes to practicing what we preach, we find excuses. Just telling someone what to do or how to behave is not enough. Behaving is a way that one wants others to behave has a more powerful effect. telling others what to do and not doing it oneself is absolute hypocrisy. Children are keen observers. They quickly observe the Gulf between the speech of adults and their actual behaviour, between their words and deeds, between their preaching and the practice. They influenced more by the actions of their elders than by their words. They imitate  their actions and inculcate their habits.

Gandhiji wanted to impress upon the villagers the importance of cleanliness. Whenever he visited a village, he would take a broom in his hand and sweep the streets. His action had more effect than any speech he might have given. A father who smokes cannot scold his child when he finds him (the child) smoking. If he wants his child never to start the habit of smoking, He should fast give up smoking himself. If parents want their children to pick up good manners, they should themselves be models of good behaviour. In short, we should ourselves do what we want others to do. This is because action speak louder than words.

Indian Villages

Villages of India cut a very gloomy picture. Indian villages are still neglected. They are deprived of basic amenities of life. They are living in subhuman conditions. They are far off from cities and towns. There are no roads connecting them to cities and towns. There are no good schools there. There are are no good doctors and hospitals there. There are dirty houses of roofs and hay there. They are deins of ailments and diseases. Illiteracy and superstition still dominate there. They present a wretched and miserable look.

But my village presents a gloomy picture like most other villages of our country. There are about 200 families in our village. Our village in habitats members of different casts and I communities. Nearly half of them belong to schedule castes. agriculture is the main source of livelihood of our villagers. There are only a few big farmers in our village. Most of our villages are land less. They work in the fields of big farmers. Their are living conditions and economic status are miserable.

Village market is an important feature of Indian rural life. Villagers living in villages far away from towns cannot afford to go to cities and towns for their regular marketing and routine purchases. So there are small and Temporary markets in villages. They are generally held on some week – days once or twice a week. In such markets there are different shops dealing in different articles. They are located in temporary shades or even in the open or on ground.

This state of affairs among two or a group of main is called friendship. Friendship has a great social and religious value in life. But it is a rarej things these days.
Because the bad friendship is harmful for us. These give us bad habits, bad manners and much more related to bad. Bad friendship is like coal, if we take in hand our hand gets dirty and hand turn into black. If coal is hot then it is dangerous.

And good friendship is like diamond, if we take in hand our hand gets Shiny and status turn into good person. This is difference between good and bad friendship. Friendship is a feeling who feel that asked them what is friends and friendship. One bad friendship can destroy your world. And one good friendship can change your world.

Cut your coat according to your cloth

If you give a piece of cloth to a tailor to make a coat, the tailor will first measure the cloth and then decide what kind of coat has to be made out of it. He will not be able to make a coat that requires more material than the cloth provided. The same is the case with our income and expenditure. Our expenses should always be within the limits of our income. Otherwise, we are sure to land in debt and difficulties. The proverb thus tells us not to spend more than what we earn, that is to live within our means.

This proverb applies not only to individuals but also to business establishments. Of course, a company may raise a loan to expand or diversify its business. But it must do so judiciously; otherwise it can even go bankrupt. Even the Government of a country has to keep in mind is total resources while spending. If it does not do so and goes on borrowing recklessly from banks and foreign countries, it could result in severe economic problems for the country.

Hence the saying is of great practical value. Applying it in life makes one happy and contented.

Green city; Clean city

A green city is a clean city. This is because nature has its own way of keeping the environment clean. A green city implies plenty of trees and greenery. This keeps the environment clean and fresh. Also the leaves take in excess carbon dioxide from the surrounding, emitted by heavy traffic, and give refreshing oxygen.

Besides trees on the sidewalks, a city should have a good number of parks and gardens. This brings pollution levels down to a minimum. It also reduces the risk of people suffering from respiratory diseases.

Main is a part of nature, not apart from nature. If there is a variety of vegetation in the locality, several animals and birds, that brighten up the atmosphere, will be found. Thus man's state of mind is also brightened. Stress levels are reduced. Indeed there is no doubt that the more greenery there is in the local habitat, the better the conditions of leaving our for the inhabitants there.

In the event of defeat, he or she should accept it cheerfully. All these qualities are the marks of the true spirit of sportsmanship that every sports person should display.

Golden Chain

Friendship is a Golden chain,
The links our friends so dear,
And like a rare and precious jewel
It's treasured more each year....

It's clasped together firmly
With a love that's deep and true,
And it's rich with happy memories
And fond recollection, too....
Time can't destroy its beauty
For as long as memory lives,
Years can't erase the pleasure
That the joy of friendship gives....

For friendship is a priceless gift
That can't be bought or sold,
But to have an understanding friend
Is worth far more than gold....

And the golden chain of Friendship
Is a strong and blessed tie
Binding kindred hearts together
As the years go passing by.
